Art Deco Biba Clarte Girl Bronze Lamp Figurine
You are viewing a wonderful art deco figurine lamp in silver bronze. The female is a wonderful Biba style (also referred to as a Clarte lamp) rendition of a naked female and her form is the epitome of art deco style and elegance as she strikes a classic pose. This is based in the US where we will ship from – please contact for shipping quotes. She stands with her back arch as she holds her arms out straight holding the white frosted crystal glass orb. This is a later recast from the original offered in very good condition.
The lamp is working and electrified, the plus is a US plug, can be easily converted for other markets. The light omits a lovely ambient glow when turned on and this would make a great centre piece to any home collection.
The piece stands on a black marble base that has been polished and is hence smooth to touch. The quality of the casting is amazing, check out details like her fine facial features and the lovely shape to her form.
This would make for a great addition to any home collection and we were lucky enough to buy this from a dealer in Paris whilst on a recent French buying trip. She is offered in perfect condition ready for home use right away.

As a decorative piece it really looks the part in any setting and it goes without saying how much of a collectors piece this is. We bought this from a dealer in Les Puces flea market Paris and it is a recast from the original.
The piece stands in at nearly three feet tall (please see photo with 12 inch rule in for idea of scale). The lamp is wired and ready to go – it emits a lovely ambient glow and makes for a very atmostpheric piece.
The lady stands tall with her arms stretch holding the frosted glass globe. She stands on tip toe on the star and this in turn stands on the black marble base.
