The great thing about these extending dining tables is they can be adjusted to suit the size of your gathering.  This table works via a wind up mechanism activated by a handle at the end of the table. Wind it up and it extends and you can slot in the extra leaves. A leaf is an extra section of wood – normally two feet wide – that slots to add length to the table.

Hence you can have the table small for smaller functions and everyday use – or large for bigger dinner parties. And of course Thanksgiving and Christmas!

In the middle of the table is the metal axel that winds the table up and down. At the smallest configuration with no leaves the table is oval. Some of the tables are round at their smallest configuration.

Fully extended with the three extra leaves this particular table seats 8 people. You could just use one leave to seat 4-6 people. We have much larger tables that can extend and seat up to 16 people. Please let us know what you are looking for and we will find it.
