You are viewing a wonderful art deco figurine lamp in silver bronze. The female is a wonderful Biba style rendition of a naked female and her form is the epitome of art deco style and elegance as she strikes a classic pose. This is based in the US where we will ship from – please contact for shipping quotes.

She stands with her back arch as she holds her arms out straight holding the white frosted crystal glass orb. This is a later recast from the original offered in very good condition.

The lamp is working and electrified, the plus is a US plug, can be easily converted for other markets. The light omits a lovely ambient glow when turned on and this would make a great centre piece to any home collection.

The piece stands on a black marble base that has been polished and is hence smooth to touch. The quality of the casting is amazing, check out details like her fine facial features and the lovely shape to her form.

This would make for a great addition to any home collection and we were lucky enough to buy this from a dealer in Paris whilst on a recent French buying trip. She is offered in perfect condition ready for home use right away.

You are viewing a fantastic silver bronze French art deco style lamp of the famous Biba. This is perhaps one of the most iconic deco works and somehow manages to encapsulate the whole aesthetic with it’s sleek minimalism and the representation of the 1920s version of the female ideal.

As a decorative piece it really looks the part in any setting and it goes without saying how much of a collectors piece this is. We bought this from a dealer in Les Puces flea market Paris and it is a recast from the original.

The piece stands in at nearly three feet tall (please see photo with 12 inch rule in for idea of scale). The lamp is wired and ready to go – it emits a lovely ambient glow and makes for a very atmostpheric piece.

The lady stands tall with her arms stretch holding the frosted glass globe. She stands on tip toe on the star and this in turn stands on the black marble base. You are viewing a gorgeous art nouveau style bronze casting of what looks to be like a fairy of sorts. The piece is entitled Playtime and is signed by Harriet Frishmuth. We have not had a chance to find out much about this artist so if anyone has any further details please feel free to email in.

What we do know is that this casting is of the highest quality and would make for a great addition to any home interiors scheme. The piece is over two feet tall so it’s quite an impressive work. This is a later recasting from the original.

The lady is tall and thin, elfin like, perhaps a fairy, nymph or pixies. She stands on tip toe. The artist has really caught her features with great skill. The signature is on the base and she in turn stands on a black marble base. She is offered in very good condition ready for home use right away and we will ship to anywhere in the world.

You are viewing an exquisite bronze casting of ‘Friends Forever’ (or ‘Eternal Friends’) by DH Chiparus – also know as Eternal Friends. I hope the photos go some way in conveying the beauty to this piece, it’s certainly better in the flesh. Chiparus was one of the most famous sculptors associated with the art deco movement and this is a later recasting of one of his best works. Please note, this is at our US office which is where it will ship from, which is good news for US customers as it’s a heavy piece and not so far to travel.

True to the art deco aesthetic, the piece has a wonderful symmetry and balance. The two borzoi dogs stand either side of the young lady clad in typical 20s attire. The piece has been cast from polychrome bronze so each section has different colours, silver for the dogs, red for her dress, brown for her face. The piece in turn stands on a black tiered marble base which is signed at the back, please see close up photo.

This is offered in perfect condition ready for home use right away and we will ship this to anywhere in the world.

Chiparus: Born in Romania and lived in Paris studying under A Boucher and J. Boucher. He exhibited at the salon from 1914. His later works in the 1920s were influenced by the interest in Egypt after the excavation of the Pharoahs’ tombes. He based many works on the ballet and the theatre, one particular theme being the Ballet Russe, from which resulted the Russian Dancers.

You are viewing a wonderful French art deco silver bronze casting of a figurine holding a ball. The piece somehow embodies the deco aesthetic with it’s idealised version of 1920s woman, all lithe athleticism and symmetrical limbs.
