French Antique Escritoire Desk Chest 1900 Inlaid Empire
– Gorgeous French antique Empire escritoire we date to circa 1900
– Great piece of furniture, kind of like a a chest meets a desk, hence great space saving device
– Front opens out to reveal writing area with drawers and cubby holes
– Intricate marquetry inlay work on all surfaces with florid floral motifs
– Marble top is smooth and chip free
– Purchased from a dealer on March Biron at Paris antiques markets
