Superb Set of William IV style Mahogany Chairs. Standing on turned fluted legs with ebonised rings.
Circa 1800
Featuring a good size stuff over seat and padded back rests. The whole being finished with brass studs.
These chairs have recently been refurbished to a very high standard and are in excellent condition.

You are viewing a wonderful set of 8 English William and Mary style dining or kitchen chairs in oak. The chairs have very distinctive hand carved features, including of coures the superb barley twist legs. For those of you looking for that cosy rustic farmhouse look then these really are the Holy Grail.

All of the details on the chairs are hand carved – the gorgeous backsplat with further barley twists and the scrolled top rail around the weaved back rest. The chairs are solid and sturdy, wobble free and very comfortable to sit in. They have just been reupholstered so are free from any previous owners smells such as pets and smoke.

The set consists of two arm chairs and six sides. We bought them from a dealer in Sandringham and will ship to anywhere in the world. We have pictured them around a refectory table we have so let us know if you are looking for a table and chair set.

The William and Mary style is from the Tudor era in 17th Century England and again is perfect for those looking for the cosy, rustic, provincial farmhouse look – they also look great in the Great Hall of a castle!

These are solid and sturdy, wobble free and very comfortable to sit in – perhaps made even more comfortable with some patterned tie down cushions – a great project for after the purchase so you can match it in with your colour scheme.

The chairs are oak and we have various tables to match so please let us know if you are looking for a complete set. They actually have quite a Gothic look to them.
