Antique French Empire Marble Bronze Mantle Clock Horse

– Gorgeous French Empire bronze and marble mantle clock
– We date this impressive clock to circa 1890 and hope the photos do it some justice
– Bronze is exceptionally well cast, particularly details like the feet and hands to the male figurine
– The bronze statue to the top very dramatic, semi nude male taming the wild horse
– Marble is smooth and chip free, gorgeous hue of salmon pink
– Great find at Les Puces antiques market in Paris

The panel on top of the clock is glass and you can see the works of the clock through this. The clock comes with a key. The carriage clock is offered in great condition.

This is a charming Antiqued bronze French carriage clock. The clock has porcelain panels to the left and right side. You ca see the clocks movement from the top glass panel. The clock’s face has Made in France on the front. The clock does not come with key so I have not been able to test if it works. Condition: Very Good

Dimensions: 8.5cm x 5.5cm x 4.8cm

Carriage clocks were designed in France for travelling in the early-nineteenth century.
