Walnut and Marquetry Bureau Plat.
Circa 1860
Standing on typical swept legs with gilt metal mouldings. 1 x Mahogany lined drawer.
The top of the Bureau Plat having a leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooling and very pretty marquetry floral sprays.
Excellent condition.

Raised on swept legs wit gilt metal mounts, the working side featuring 3 crossbanded drawers with superb gilt metal handles and mounts.
The top having a hand tooled leather insert again with gilt metal moldings and mounts.
A very eye catching piece which would grace any home or office.

French Mid 19th Century Walnut Bureau Plat.
Circa 1860
Standing on swept legs with ormolu toes and finely worked ormolu mounts to the knees.
The 3 Oak lined drawers of a serpentine form with wonderful cast ormolu handles.
The top retaining the original tooled hide writing surface. The whole being crossbanded in Tulipwood.
Comes complete with original key.
