Windsor Chairs on Canonbury Antiques
Windsor chairs have to be the ultimate farmhouse kitchen chair – either in oak or yew wood. We had a set of these in our house whilst growing up and I am very fond of them. We have various dining tables to match so please email if you are interested in a dining set.
These are the traditional and much loved Windsor chair design featuring the crinoline stretcher, hand turned legs, back splat with hand carved Prince of Wales feathers and the saddle shaped seats. They are very comfortable and solid and these are perfect for that rustic cosy farmhouse look. These were made by craftsman at High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire where they have been made using the same materials and skills for centuries.
