Large Bronze Statue Britannia Roman Briton Casting Figurine
– Gorgeous bronze casting of Britannia
– In the 2nd century, Roman Britannia came to be personified as a goddess, armed with a trident and shield and wearing a Corinthian helmet
– As if you need to know, she is where the name Britain originated
– Casting over three feet tall and hence very impressive
– Britannia depicted in full regalia with shield, spear and Roman style hat
– Great patina to the bronze and stands on the red marble plinth base
– There is an inscription on the base on the bronze – Offered in great condition, ready for home use right away
