Early Silver with Enamel Jack Russel Dog Vesta
I have on offer a charming enamel and sterling silver vesta. The vesta has a fantastic enamel image depicting a white Jack Russel dog. The silver has a beautiful foliate design. The vesta dates to 1876. The inside of the lid of the vesta is hallmarked with an anchor, a lion and the letter ‘b’. There is also the silversmiths mark which has worn away with age. The vesta is in good shape for its age.
