Solid Silver with Enamel & Marcasite Art Deco Lady Brooch
This is a fabulous Art Deco style lady pin. The brooch has stunning turqoise enamel detail with a marcasite finish. The lady is wearing a hat and she has her head gently tilted to her hand. The back of the brooch is hallmarked ‘925.’ A fabulous addition to any outfit.

The Art Deco artistic movement first appeared in France after the First World War and remained prominent until the Second World War. Art Deco is characterised by bold shapes and strong lines. Geometrics was a huge influence on Art Deco jewellery with circles, rectangles, squares and triangles being a regular feature.
