Here we have a very unusual designed kneehole bureau
Having an arrangement of 6 oak lined drawers and a central cupboard with decorative drop handles and escutcheons
Circa 1700
The bureau stands upon turned ”bun” feet
The bureau features herringbone inlays and crossbanding
The fall opens to reveal a fitted interior comprising of oak lined drawers, pigeon holes and a sunken well (supposedly a secret compartment)
