It’s hard to know where to start when describing these, such is the beauty and detail to the crafting. Perhaps the main draw to the eye are the two chubby winged cherubs supporting the bowl as they lie down. The cherubs are in white and are incredibly cute. They lie on the base which also an upturned bowl featuring tiny encrusted porcelain flowers, hand painted, along with the leaves and the shell flourishes tinged with gold leaf.
The main latticed bowl also features leaves, vines and flowers, again hand painted – definitely the work of a steady and talented hand. We have included a photo of the Meissen stamp on the underside of the base.
