10 English Mahogany George II Dining Chairs
You are viewing a wonderful set of 10 hand carved English George II style dining chairs. I hope the photos do this stunning set some justice, they’re certainly better in the flesh and would make for a great addition to any home, in fact they really are a set fit for a king.
The set consists of 8 side chairs and 2 side chairs. They have each been hand crafted from the finest mahogany wood. Observe the intricate hand carved details to the backsplat with leaf, shell and oggee motifs. A real feat of craftmanship and on every chair. The Chippendale ball and claw feet are also very intricately carved, as are the legs and the curled handles n the carvers. It’s breathaking when you consider how long each chair would take to create.
The joins are solid and tight, these chairs are solid and sturdy, comfortable to sit in and with a presence that will last for centuries and generations, making these a great heirloom.

I’d like to say they are the king of chairs but that would be incorrect as these are Queen Anne style chairs with the distinctive, solid, wonderful craftmanship as befits this model. Hence, they are the Queen of chairs. You are viewing a set of 10 – consisting of two arm chairs and eight sides. We have also shown them around an English Georgian pedestal dining table we currently have available, so please contact us if you are looking for a complete dining set.
These chairs are unique as they have the markings under the seats incised by the maker so they can identify the top to the bottom. This is the mark of a quality set of chairs.

Regency Table & Hepplewhite Chairs Set Dining Suite

You are viewing a truly regal dining set consisting of a 13 foot Regency style pedestal desk in flame mahogany and a matching set of 10 Hepplewhite dining chairs. I hope the photos do this set some justice, it’s certainly better in the flesh.
The table sits firmly on the three pedestal bases which are on castors so you can move this around easily. When fully extended it is 13 foot long – and more than comfortably accomodates ten people – you can fit more if you wanted. This makes it great for hosting large scale dinner parties. The great thing is with these tables there flexibility. When you don’t need it so large you can unextend it by taking out the two extra leaves – you can even use it with just two pedestals, there is a variety of different size combinations.
The finish to the flame mahogany is amazing and the table is offered in very good condition with no scratches, solid and stable, ready for home use right away. Along with the table you are viewing a wonderful set of matching 10 Hepplewhite style dining chairs consisting of 2 arm chairs and 8 carvers. The chairs are handcrafted from the finest mahogany and have a lovely veneer to the wood. This particular set have just come back from the restorers where they had a repolish so they are ready for home use immediately.
