You are viewing an absolutely fab pair of French rococo ormolu candelabras with two cherubs each holding up the main branch. This pair just reek of quality – the casting is very intricate and I hope the photos do this some justice. Particularly on details like the leaves which have all the veins finely replicated in relief. Similarly the cherubs faces and all the fantastic details on the bases.

Can you imagine how these would look set up with candles in them displayed in your home? They are museum quality and we were lucky enough to find them one morning whilst on a buying trip in Les Puces flea market in Paris.

A great investment, this pair are offered in very good condition and we will ship to anywhere in the world. These are free from any damage and we are expecting a lot of interest.

PAIR ITALIAN BRONZE CHERUB CANDELABRAS CANDLE STICKS PUTTI

 

You are viewing an elegant pair of Italian bronze cherub candelabras with a marble classical centre plinth. The piece is cast from a mixture of ormolu and bronze. The main base has been crafted from ormolu and is very intricate with garlands of flowers, leafs and other designs. This surrounds the white marble fluted column centre plinth. In turn, this is surmounted by the brown bronze cherub who holds aloft the six candle holders. The pair are offered in perfect condition and the patina to the bronze has a lovely finish. We bought these in Rome from a dealer we know whilst on a buying trip in Italy. 10.2kg
