Set 4 French Sevres Porcelain Cherub Wall Plaques Plates

You are viewing a fantastic set of four Sevres style wall plaques made from the porcelain centre plate and surrounded by an ornate gilt wood frame. The plaques are each hand painted and depict various cherub scenes. Hopefully the photographs will go some way in conveying the intricacy of the brushstroke and the amount of time that would have gone into the painting and crafting of these beautiful pieces.

Around the white panel with the cherubs is a red porcelain frame which has some intricate gold leaf patterns and designs, also hand painted. Then of course the piece is framed by the beautiful gilt wood with leaf and vine designs. They are a gorgeous set and would add style to any interiors scheme offered as they are in perfect condition. The cherubs are of the lovely chubby variety and this set would make for a great addition to your home collection.
