You are viewing an absolutely wonderful specimen where superb colour has been achieved and the best burr walnut veneers have been used to recreate this classic writing desk. This piece is cross banded to accentuate the rich veneers used and is elegantly sized for modern living.
Its a great practical piece for the study and is workable with a lap top on the surface, of course with some protection to the top. The mounts and keyholes are made from brass.

You are viewing a gorgeous French Empire style partners desk in walnut with an oval shape. I hope the photos does this handsome piece some justice, it’s certainly better in the flesh. It’s a dummy partners desk with drawers on one side – that’s the great thing about this museum quality piece, it can stand alone in the middle of a room as it’s handsome to look at from every direction.
The crafting is second to none with all the Empire motifs, including the ormolu cast rosettes, acanthus leaves, lyres and arabesques – the casting is very intricate indeed. The Empire theme is further expounded with features like the classical columns either side of the cubby hole.
The walnut has a lovely finish and overall this desk is offered in great shape, solid and stable, wobble free, ready for home use right away. It’s very practical as there is loads of storage space. The top is covered in red tooled leather. We will ship to anywhere in the world. We bought this from a dealer off the Champs Elysees in Paris whilst on a recent French buying trip.

You are viewing a gorgeous Biedermeier style walnut cabinet with classical columns to either side and supports. The supports have an Empire look with the columns to either side at the front, giving this an unusual look. To the front there are three large drawers which open out smoothly to reveal further storage. The lions head handles are also a great touch.
