You are viewing a gorgeous American art nouveau style bronze casting of the famous hoop girl by Paul Manship. The bronze has a silver finish and is offered in great shape, standing on the marble base. We will ship to anywhere in the world.

This piece is modelled on the original by the famous American artist Paul Manship who worked in the 1920s and 30s and has works on display at the Rockerfeller Centre in NYC. There is re-cast enlargement of this work (standing in at over 12 feet tall) at Hofstra University in Long Island.

You are viewing a gorgeous art deco silver bronze figurine depicting a semi clad women holding a bow. I hope the photos do this stunning piece some justice, it’s certainly better in the flesh and would make a great adddition to any collection. It is a representation of Diana the Archer.

The piece is signed ‘Bourraine’ on the base. Bourraine was a famous French sculpturist working during the deco period and after. We have included a close up photo of the signature. Marcel Bouraine: born in Pontoise. He was interned in Switzerland where he produced several monuments, one of which was in Lausanne. He exhibited at all the main Paris salons. This is a later recast from the original.

The piece is a typical 20s stylised treatment of the female form, all aerodynamism and sleek symmetry. Check out the contours of her sash which echo the form of her body and the overall style of this piece as she points her bow into the air. The casting is of the highest quality, check out features like her fine hands and feet.

She sits squarely on the black marble base and is offered in perfect condition ready for home use right away.

You are viewing an amazing silvered bronze art deco figurine in the shape of a hoop girl. The piece stands firmly on a black marble base and somehow manages to capture the 1920s deco aesthetic.

The piece is just over one foot tall and is a classic example of art deco. The lady is naked as she stands back with leg outstretched as she pulls on the large hoop. This would make for a great addition to any collection.

She is offered in perfect condition ready for home use right away. The black marble base is also chip and flake free. We were lucky enough to buy her one morning at Les Puces flea market in Paris.

You are viewing a gorgeous French art deco sculpture showing a semi clad female we have – for obvious reasons – dubbed swallow girl. I hope the photos do this stunning piece some justice, it’s certainly more impressive in the flesh and would make for a great addition to any home interiors scheme. We bought this from a dealer just off Les Champs Elysee in Paris, whilst on a recent French buying trip.

We are unsure of the artist – we cannot find a signature. What we do know is the artist really captured the poise and elegance of the lady with great skill, her proportions and muscle tone are amazingly rendered. She holds a stick out with four birds on it. It’s a delightful scene. The patina to the bronze is amazing and we have taken some close up shots to show you the quality of features like her hands and face. Forget cheap Eastern imports, this is the real deal.

She sits firmly on the marble base which has been polished and is smooth to touch. She is offered in very good condition and we will ship to anywhere in the world. She is based in the US so that is where we will ship from.
