– Truly magnificent pair of French Louis XVI style cut glass lidded urns on stands
– These wouldn’t look out of place in Louis XVI’s aka the Sun King’s very own residence, the Palace of Versaille
– Lovely bulbous form to the main body of the glass urn surmounted by the lid
– Cut glass features elegant cross hatching and hand painted designs and motifs in gold leaf over the cyan blue background
– Ormolu fixtures are amazing, particularly the base with carbriole legs and goats hooves at the bottom – Acanthus soccle and floral handles also very eye catching
