Art Deco Hoop Dancer Figurine by Colinet Statue
– Classic art deco style bronze statue showing a lithe female hoop dancer
– Piece is signed Colinet on the base and this is a later recast from the original
– Piece somehow embodies the 1920s aesthetic of the ideal female form
– Stands on the marble base which is smooth and chip free
– Colinet was a famous deco sculpturist working out of Paris in the 1920s
– Purchased from a dealer on Marche Biron at the Paris antiques markets
