– French silver plated bronze casting of Bonheur’s The Steeplechase
– Isidore Jules Bonheur was a famous French sculpturist working out of France in the 1900s
– Bonheur particularly specialised in horses and this is one of his most famous pieces
– Piece is signed on the base and this is a later recasting from the original
– Purchased from a dealer on Marche Dauphine at the Paris antiques markets
