– Lovely ormolu fixtures in the rococo manner add further elegance
– Piece is surmounted by the charming ormolu cherub
– This really is a stand out piece and we date it to circa 1880
– Cloisonné is the decorative work in which enamel, glass, or gemstones are separated by strips of flattened wire placed edgeways on a metal backing
